SubOptic 2013

The dates for the SubOptic 2013 conference to be Hosted by Alcatel-Lucent have now been announced. The conference which will be held in the Marriot Rive Gauche Hotel in Paris, will start on April 23rd, 2013 and though the programme has not yet been formulated, is likely to last three days. It will be preceded by a series of tutorial/workshops which will be held on April 22nd, 2013.
The SubOptic 2013 website will be opened later this year to provide more information on the conference theme and the evolving programme. It will also provide further information on all aspects of the conference including, sponsorship packages available, reservation of exhibition and hospitality room space, submission of abstracts for the "Call for Papers" and registration for the conference, hotel accommodation and much more.
Our last conference SubOptic 2010 in Yokohama attracted more than 700 attendees from over 230 companies and our conference remains the only event organised by the industry for the industry on a non-profit making basis. It provides a meeting place for all strands of interest in the Undersea Optical Fibre Communications business.

The archive containing all the papers and presentations that were given at our recent SubOptic 2010 Conference, held in Yokohama from May 11-14th, 2010, are now freely available by going to the Archives section on this website.
The information which has been added to those from the archives of SubOptic 2004 and 2007, to form one of the largest sources of freely available material about the undersea communications industry and community.
