SubOptic 2013

The dates for the SubOptic 2013 conference to be Hosted by Alcatel-Lucent have now been announced. The conference which will be held in the Marriot Rive Gauche, Paris, France, will start on April 23rd, 2013 and though the programme has not yet been formulated, is likely to last three days. It will be preceded by a series of tutorial/workshops which will be held on April 22nd, 2013.

This website will provide all the information you will need about this conference, including reservation of sponsorship packages exhibition booths and hospitality room space, submission of abstracts for the "Call for Papers" and registration for the conference, hotel accommodation and much more.

The preliminary dates for issuing this information are:

March 2012:             Reservation opens for sponsorship packages, exhibition booths and hospitality rooms.
May 2012:                  A call for presentation proposals (Call for Papers) will be issued.
September 2012:      Deadline for providing presentation proposals (abstract/executive summary)
November 2012:      Website attendee registration facility opens.
December 2012:       Authors informed that their presentation proposals have been accepted.
January 2013:           Preliminary Programme issued.
January 2013:           Deadline for providing final papers for oral and poster presentation.

As these dates are finalised the information will be posted on this website and emails sent to those on our E-Alerts database. If you want to be kept up to date about SubOptic 2013, please subscribe to E-Alerts by going to the link at the bottom of this page and providing your email address.

The website also has archives from three previous conferences; SubOptic 2004 which was held in Monaco from March 29th to April 1st, 2004, SubOptic 2007 which was held in Baltimore from May 14th to May 17th, 2007 and SubOptic 2010 which was held in Yokohama from May 11th to May 14th, 2010.

For SubOptic 2007 and 2010 the archives also includes the actual presentation made by the author of the accepted paper.

The website also now has an improved "Search the Conferences Archives" facility, which allows for a search of the archive of each individual conference or a collective search of all three.

If you require any information about specific papers from SubOptic 1997 or SubOptic 2001, please email john-horne@btconnect.com who may be able to provide a copy of these. We have no electronic archive of papers presented at SubOptic conferences, prior to this!
