The SubOptic Open Cable Management Working group is a collaborative industry-wide effort intended as a means to share with the broader industry some collectively agreed-upon ideas and recommendations on defining a common interface for wetplant management. It attempts to lay a foundation upon which standardisation can be built on and progress. The technology covered in this white paper is constantly evolving; as such, the recommendations in this white paper are by no means comprehensive and set in stone.
